Hace unas semanas visité la feria de puericultura de Colonia Kind + Jugend 2018. Es una feria comercial enorme que visitaron más de 24.700 personas de 123 países. Imaginad la de cosas que había por ver. Como tendencias os diré que los productos de este año se enfocaban a la seguridad, la digitalización y la sostenibilidad. Aunque resumirlo en estos tres conceptos no es suficiente pues había muchísimos expositores con novedades. La innovación es lo que más me llama la atención así que siempre voy buscando productos nuevos. En este post os enseñaré algunos de ellos así como los stands de las marcas que más me gustaron. La feria recibe a prensa especializada como Blogmodabebé y a compradores de países europeos como Reino Unido, Francia, Italia y España (los que más). Aunque, también se contaron este año más visitantes de Bulgaria, Letonia y la República Checa (según informa la organización). Cada vez es más fuerte el número de visitas desde Asia, especialmente China. Este país no solo es la fábrica del mundo sino que se ha convertido en uno de los principales compradores. La feria, además de promover su internacionalidad, organiza interesantes conferencias, así como los premios Kind + Jugend Innovation Award. Estos galardones premian la innovación de productos, gozan de muy buena reputación en la industria, y ya la sola nominación es un importante instrumento de marketing para las marcas. Si algo me ha sorprendido este año han sido los cochecitos inteligentes capaces de facilitar la conducción a los padres. Seguid leyendo para conocerlos.
El primero de ellos lo conocí de la mano de la marca sueca Emmaljunga. Han realizado una colaboración con Bosch para equipar a sus cochecitos con dos motores eléctricos que facilitan a los padres el manejo en pendientes o terrenos con desnivel ¿Cómo funciona? Los motores inteligentes alojados en las ruedas detectan, a través de sensores, cómo está el cochecito circulando en las diferentes superficies. Un algoritmo calcula el desnivel y envía información a las ruedas para que o bien se paren (en caso de pendientes) o aguanten la carga, en caso de circular cuesta arriba, liberando a los padres de ese peso al empujar el manillar.
Además, el modelo tiene una protección contra robo, que puede activarse si es necesario: si una persona no autorizada quiere empujar el carrito, sonará una alarma que alertará al usuario autorizado. Tiene una app inteligente que conecta el cochecito con el móvil y, a través de Bluetooth, proporciona información del sistema y del estado de la batería. El modelo presentado en Colonia (lo veis en mi foto de arriba) es el NTX90e. No fueron la única marca en presentar un cochecito así. Otras, también me lo mostraron en sus stands, aunque no me dejaron fotografiarlos ni comunicarlo. Pero tiempo al tiempo, pronto los veréis.
Dorel Juvenile a través de su marca Maxi-Cosi ha presentado el primer capazo para automóvil para recién nacidos, aprobado por las más altas normas de seguridad (R129). La Maxi-Cosi Jade, que así es como se llama, recibió el Kind + Jugend Innovation Award en la categoría “World of Travelling Kids” (viajar con niños, para entendernos). El Maxi-Cosi Jade combina la seguridad de un asiento para el automóvil y la comodidad para dormir de un capazo. La perfecta posición tumbada hace posible viajar con seguridad al bebé, tanto durante viajes cortos al supermercado como viajes familiares más largos. La instalación única de Slide & Go ofrece una solución fácil para cambiar el capazo del cochecito al sistema ISOFIX en el automóvil sin tener que despertar al bebé.
Una de mis primeras visitas en Colonia fue al stand de Cybex y GB. Vale la pena hacerlo porque son espectaculares. Tienen hasta una inmensa cascada de agua en una de sus puertas. Allí descubrí un montón de novedades. Para empezar el Cybex Sensorsafe, un sistema de monitorización inteligente que alerta a los padres y les ayuda a prevenir situaciones críticas en el automóvil (dejarse el niño dentro, si sacan los brazos de los arneses durante la conducción o si al peque le sube la temperatura, entre otras funciones). El sensorsafe Clip se adhiere al sistema de arneses, manteniendo al usuario siempre informado de la seguridad y del bienestar del niño. Ante cualquier incidencia alerta instantáneamente al conductor a través de la app móvil con un mensaje y una señal audible. Lo veis en mis fotos.
Cybex también me presentó una a una la actualización de diseño de sus productos con ruedas que cada vez más fusionan la funcionalidad y la comodidad. Mirad en mis fotos los cochecitos Platinum Priam y Mios con sus nuevos chasis disponibles en rosa-oro, negro y plata. Estos productos utilizan materiales de alta calidad. Para el Mios también me mostraron un nuevo capazo, el Lite Cot, diseñado para garantizar la mayor comodidad del niño.
También descubrí su colaboración con la marca Ferrari. Mirad qué sillas de auto y cochecitos en cuero blanco y negro. En Facebook os dejo muchas más fotos de las novedades presentadas.
Luego me fui al stand de SmarTrike que son los triciclos evolutivos que han utilizado mis dos hijos. Desde hace años me gusta visitarlos en Colonia para conocer sus novedades. La marca además de triciclos tiene patinetes, trampolines que se convierten en parques de bolas y la gama de mochilas de neopreno Tots&Go que ya os he presentado en Blogmodabebé ya que la distribuye en España BB Grenadine. Si tenéis que comprar un triciclo a vuestros peques que sea un SmarTrike no lo dudéis. Mi marido es ingeniero y cuando compramos el primero quedó sorprendido de la calidad y el diseño del mismo.
Al salir de SmarTrike visité el stand de Cosatto que es una marca que encanta a mis seguidores y seguidoras por sus divertidos estampados. Tienen una amplia gama de productos de puericultura y todos se caracterizan por su calidad, están llenos de detalles y por sus colores cuyo objetivo es hacer felices a los bebés. Cosatto es una marca inglesa.
Me acerqué al pabellón 4.1 en el que estaban algunas marcas españolas y allí pude descubrir la nueva colección de bolsos de maternidad de Mybag’s una marca de Barcelona que ya sabéis que adoro ¿Os gustan sus nuevos diseños en mostaza, gris y salmón?
De ahí me trasladé al pabellón de interiorismo y mobiliario infantil para ver el stand de Donebydeer. Descubrí esta marca en Colonia años atrás y desde entonces la visito. Su colección para 2019 nos trae nuevos y divertidos juguetes, prácticas vajillas, bonitos diseños de textiles y de decoración para la habitación de los niños. Es la colección ‘Happy home’ 2019 en la que los siete ‘Deer friends’ os transportarán a nuevos diseños en tonos pastel combinados con tonos más oscuros, puntos y rayas. Tienen vajillas, ropa de cama, juguetes y artículos de decoración increíbles para la habitación de los niños. Les voy a dedicar un post a parte.
Durante mi segundo día en Kind + Jugend 2018 fui a visitar algunas de las marcas que distribuye BB Grenadine para España y Portugal. Conocí todos los nuevos packs y sets de la famosa Jirafa Sofía (me enamoré de un peluche súper tierno de la jirafita). Acaban de lanzar un chupete de hevea en diferentes tallas para bebés.
En las fotos podéis ver también las nuevas boquillas con cucharilla de las bolsas de alimentación reutilizables Squiz, y los nuevos trajes de baño con protección solar de la marca Ki et la, que como sabéis empezó diseñando gafas irrompibles para bebés y ha aumentado su portafolio de productos cada año con gafas de sol para toodlers y gorros con protección UPF 50+. Esta ropa de baño para los peques (hasta los siete) protege hasta en un 98% de la radiación solar. No lleva el tejido ningún tratamiento sino que sus propias fibras (con certificado Ecotex) protegen a los más pequeños de las radiaciones solares.
Otra novedad que podéis comprar en la página web de BB Grenadine son los aspiradores nasales de Nosiboo. En la feria presentaron un nuevo modelo ultracompacto de viaje.
En la feria la marca Niu Concept presentó toda su amplia gama de productos de puericultura, desde sus novedosos cochecitos y sillas de paseo a sus barreras de cuna o hamacas balancín.
En el stand de Kids II pude descubrir toda la amplia gama de juguetes de primera infancia de la marca Baby Einstein. En unos días espero hablaros de ellos al detalle.
Luego visité el stand de Easywalker y descubrí sus nuevos colores para el modelo Harvey, que ha sido premiado en Holanda por los consumidores como el cochecito más ligero del mercado. Y como novedad en la feria de Colonia presentaron el Charlie un cochecito más compacto, urbano y ligero (solo 8 kgs.). En la gama de Easywalker además de estos cochecitos tenéis la silla de paseo Buggy XS. Lo que me gusta de ella son los nuevos colores y el cuidado interior de sus tapicerías.
En el stand de Nuvita Baby quedé enamorada de sus nuevos colores para el bolso maternal extra ligero y multifuncional MyMia. También descubrí la nueva gama de colores para sus biberones y chupetes. Y en cuanto a sus vigilabebés os diré que tienen los de las más bajas emisiones.
Uno de los stands en los que más disfruté fue el de micuna. La marca de diseño de mobiliario infantil presentó como novedad la maravillosa línea Dippo. Esta está formada por una cuna de 140×70 cm combinada en madera de haya color blanco y water wood e inspirada en la cultura nórdica. Es una cuna evolutiva diseñada con una creciente apertura en su estructura desde su base, proporcionando amplitud y gran espacio. Esta cuna se transforma en camita o sofá. Destaca en su diseño, sus patas cónicas de madera de haya, elegantes y vanguardistas. A juego tenéis la bañera que se integra en la cómoda a juego y que cuando ya no utilicéis podéis extraer la cubeta.
Otra de las grandes novedades es la línea Micussori inspirada en la metodología Montessori. Pronto os hablaré al detalle de ella en este blog de puericultura. Yo estoy completamente enamorada de sus casitas. Tienen tres modelos: Claire, Camp y Pio-Pio en función del textil que escojáis. Las tres se han diseñado con una base rectangular y una estructura de pino en forma de casita, un espacio acogedor y cómodo para jugar, descubrir, leer o descansar. Llevan en la estructura incorporada una luz para la lectura.
Y estoy convencida que os enamorará su útil y funcional torre de aprendizaje. De líneas minimalistas y colores nórdicos, esta torre ayudará a los más pequeños a desarrollar su autonomía y a experimentar en todos los lugares de la casa, como la cocina o el baño. Abajo en la foto veis el modelo Trotta. En la primera posición, Trotta es una escalerita de tres peldaños, perfecta para los aventureros más pequeños. El peldaño inferior puede plegarse hacia el interior, para cuando el niño no lo necesite y para ahorrar espacio en el hogar.
En las fotos también podéis ver Little Things, un lugar a medida para los más pequeños, dónde podrán guardar en orden todas sus cosas: ropa, zapatos, botas, complementos e incluso juguetes o libros. Con este mini armarito abierto los niños podrán aprender sobre la organización y el orden, experimentar su autonomía y trabajar su poder de decisión, ya que podrán encontrar y alcanzar fácilmente todo lo que necesiten, podrán elegir como vestirse, qué zapatos utilizar e incluso aprender a recoger y cuidar sus pertenencias. ¿Qué os parece?
Otro de los stands que visité fue el de Mutsy. Pude admirar el i2, el cochecito de lujo de Mutsy, las nuevas ediciones especiales Urban Nomad y Pure, así como la lujosa Heritage. Descubrí un nuevo modelo que no puedo desvelaros todavía por expreso deseo de la marca. Las preciosas tapicerías de la Adventure Collection del Nio las han reinterpretado también para el Nexo. Os encantarán sus detalles en marrón coñac o marrón chocolate. Para el Nio también lanzarán un total black con el chasis y llantas en negro.
También visité la marca sueca EverydayBaby que me habían contactado por mail. Fue una gran idea ir a conocerlos porque pude descubrir sus maravillosos biberones de cristal forrados sensibles a la temperatura (cambian de color para indicar a mamá o a papá cuando el agua o la leche está muy caliente). En España esta marca la distribuye JoyKids.
Finalmente, antes de partir me pasé por el stand de Britax Römer para descubrir sus últimos y premiados modelos de sillas de auto. Matias Massó distribuidor para España y Portugal me presentó la nueva ADVANSAFIX IV R que se ha desarrollado para que los niños de entre 9 y 36 kg de peso puedan viajar de forma segura y cómoda. Gracias a la función Flip&Grow, siguiendo unos sencillos pasos, a medida que los niños vayan creciendo se puede cambiar el arnés de cinco puntos integrado y el cinturón de seguridad de tres puntos.
También aprecié la edición especial con las letras de la marca, la veis abajo en las fotos.
Y la SWINGFIX i-SIZE que va desde el nacimiento hasta los 4 años (105 cm). La silla tiene solo rotación de 90 grados, para que los peques vayan a contramarcha siempre. Esta silla ha superado el exigente PLUS test sueco, por ello ofrece la máxima comodidad para padres y niños. Luego tenéis el modelo La SWINGFIX M i-SIZE que incorpora el reductor Confort. Os hablaré en unos días de este accesorio que tiene un acolchado extra y que ayuda a reducir el posible espacio entre los niños pequeños y los laterales de la silla de coche, proporcionando así mayor comodidad.

KIND + JUGEND 2018, COLOGNE CHILDCARE FAIR
A few weeks ago I visited the childcare fair in Cologne Kind + Jugend 2018. It is a huge trade fair that more than 24,700 people from 123 countries visited. Imagine the things that were to be seen. As trends, I will tell you that this year’s products focused on security, digitalization and sustainability. Although summarize it in these three concepts is not enough because there were many exhibitors with novelties. Innovation is what strikes me the most, so I’m always looking for new products. In this post I will show you some of them as well as the stands of the brands that I liked the most. The fair receives a specialized press such as Blogmodabebé and buyers from European countries such as the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Spain (the most). Although, more visitors from Bulgaria, Latvia and the Czech Republic were also counted this year (according to the organization). The number of visits from Asia, especially China, is getting stronger. This country is not only the factory of the world but it has become one of the main buyers. The fair, besides promoting its internationality, organizes interesting conferences, as well as the Kind + Jugend Innovation Award. These awards reward the innovation of products, enjoy a very good reputation in the industry, and the mere nomination is an important marketing tool for brands. If something has surprised me this year have been the smart strollers able to facilitate driving to parents. Keep reading to know them.
The first of them I met him by the Swedish brand Emmaljunga. They have made a collaboration with Bosch to equip their strollers with two electric motors that make it easier for parents to drive on slopes or uneven terrain. How does it work? The intelligent motors housed in the wheels detect, through sensors, how the stroller is circulating in the different surfaces. An algorithm calculates the unevenness and sends information to the wheels so that they either stop (in case of slopes) or bear the load, in case of driving uphill, freeing the parents of that weight when pushing the handlebar.
In addition, the model has a protection against theft, which can be activated if necessary: if an unauthorized person wants to push the cart, an alarm will sound that will alert the authorized user. It has a smart app that connects the stroller with the mobile and, through Bluetooth, provides system information and battery status. The model presented in Cologne (you see in my photo above) is the NTX90e. They were not the only brand to present a stroller like that. Others, also showed it to me in their stands, although they did not let me photograph them or communicate it. But time to time, you will soon see them.
Dorel Juvenile through its brand Maxi-Cosi has presented the first car carrycot for newborns, approved by the highest safety standards (R129). The Maxi-Cosi Jade, that’s what it’s called, received the Kind + Jugend Innovation Award in the “World of Traveling Kids” category (traveling with children, to understand each other). The Maxi-Cosi Jade combines the safety of a car seat and the comfort of sleeping in a carrycot. The perfect lying position makes it possible to travel safely to the baby, both during short trips to the supermarket and longer family trips. The unique installation of Slide & Go offers an easy solution to change the carrycot of the stroller to the ISOFIX system in the car without having to wake up the baby.
One of my first visits in Cologne was to the stand of Cybex and GB. It is worth doing because they are spectacular. They have an immense cascade of water in one of its doors. There I discovered a lot of news. To start the Cybex Sensorsafe, an intelligent monitoring system that alerts parents and helps them to prevent critical situations in the car (leaving the child inside, if they remove the arms from the harnesses while driving or if the child goes up the temperature , Among other functions). The sensorsafe Clip adheres to the harness system, keeping the user always informed of the safety and welfare of the child. At any incident, it instantly alerts the driver through the mobile app with a message and an audible signal. You see it in my photos.
Cybex also presented me one by one the design update of its wheeled products that increasingly merge functionality and comfort. Look in my photos the Platinum Priam and Mios strollers with their new chassis available in pink-gold, black and silver. These products use high quality materials. For the Mios they also showed me a new carrycot, the Lite Cot, designed to guarantee the best comfort of the child.
I also discovered their collaboration with the Ferrari brand. Look what car seats and strollers in black and white leather. On Facebook I have left many more photos of the presented novelties.
Then I went to the SmarTrike stand which are the evolutionary tricycles that my two children have used. For years I like to visit them in Cologne to see what is new. The brand, in addition to tricycles has scooters, trampolines that become ball parks and the range of neoprene backpacks Tots & Go that I have already presented to you at Blogmodabebé since it is distributed in Spain by BB Grenadine. If you have to buy a tricycle for your kids that is a SmarTrike do not doubt it. My husband is an engineer and when we bought the first one he was surprised by the quality and design of it.
After leaving SmarTrike I visited the Cosatto stand, which is a brand that charms my followers for their fun prints. They have a wide range of childcare products and all are characterized by their quality, full of details and their colors whose goal is to make babies happy. Cosatto is an English brand.
I approached the pavilion 4.1 in which there were some Spanish brands and there I was able to discover the new collection of maternity bags from Mybag’s a brand from Barcelona that you already know I love. Do you like your new designs in mustard, gray and salmon?
From there I moved to the interior design and children’s furniture pavilion to see the Donebydeer stand. I discovered this brand in Cologne years ago and since then I visit it. Its collection for 2019 brings us new and fun toys, practical tableware, beautiful designs of textiles and decoration for the children’s room. It is the collection ‘Happy home’ 2019 in which the seven ‘Deer friends’ will transport you to new designs in pastel tones combined with darker tones, dots and stripes. They have crockery, bedding, toys and amazing decoration items for the children’s room. I’m going to dedicate a post to part.
During my second day at Kind + Jugend 2018 I went to visit some of the brands distributed by BB Grenadine for Spain and Portugal. I met all the new packs and sets of the famous Sophie Giraffe (I fell in love with a super cute stuffed animal of the giraffe). They just released a hevea pacifier in different sizes for babies.
In the photos you can see also the new nozzles with spoon of the reusable Squiz feed bags, and the new swimsuits with sunscreen brand Ki et la, which as you know began designing unbreakable glasses for babies and has increased its portfolio of products every year with sunglasses for toodlers and caps with UPF 50+ protection. This bathroom linen for children (up to seven) protects up to 98% of solar radiation. The fabric does not have any treatment but its own fibers (Ecotex certified) protect the smallest from the solar radiation.
Another novelty that you can buy on the BB Grenadine website is Nosiboo nasal aspirators. At the fair they presented a new ultracompact travel model.
At the fair, the Niu Concept brand presented its wide range of childcare products, from its innovative strollers to its cradle barriers or swing chairs.
At the Kids II stand, I was able to discover the wide range of early childhood toys from the Baby Einstein brand. In a few days I hope to tell you about them in detail.
Then I visited the Easywalker stand and discovered its new colors for the Harvey model, which has been awarded in the Netherlands by consumers as the lightest stroller on the market. And as a novelty at the Cologne fair presented the Charlie a stroller more compact, urban and light (only 8 kgs.). In the range of Easywalker in addition to these strollers you have the buggy Buggy XS. What I like about it are the new colors and the interior care of its upholstery.
At the Nuvita Baby booth I fell in love with its new colors for the extra light and multifunctional MyMia maternity bag. I also discovered the new range of colors for your bottles and pacifiers. And as for your baby monitors, I’ll tell you that they have the lowest emissions.
One of the stands I enjoyed the most was micuna. The design brand of children’s furniture presented as a novelty the wonderful Dippo line. This is formed by a cradle of 140 × 70 cm combined in white beech wood and water wood and inspired by the Nordic culture. It is an evolutionary cradle designed with an increasing opening in its structure from its base, providing amplitude and great space. This crib is transformed into a bed or sofa. It stands out in its design, its conical legs of beech wood, elegant and avant-garde. To match you have the bathtub that is integrated into the matching chest of drawers and that when you no longer use you can extract the tub.
Another of the great novelties is the Micussori line inspired by the Montessori methodology. Soon I’ll talk about it in detail in this childcare blog. I am completely in love with your little houses. They have three models: Claire, Camp and Pio-Pio depending on the textile you choose. All three have been designed with a rectangular base and a pine structure in the shape of a house, a cozy and comfortable place to play, discover, read or rest. They carry in the built-in structure a light for reading.
And I am convinced that you will fall in love with its useful and functional learning tower. With minimalist lines and Nordic colors, this tower will help the little ones to develop their autonomy and to experiment in all the places of the house, such as the kitchen or the bathroom. Below in the photo you see the Trotta model. In the first position, Trotta is a three-step ladder, perfect for the smallest adventurers. The lower step can be folded inwards, when the child does not need it and to save space in the home.
In the photos you can also see Little Things, a place tailored for the little ones, where they can keep all their things in order: clothes, shoes, boots, accessories and even toys or books. With this mini cabinet open children can learn about organization and order, experience their autonomy and work their decision power, as they can easily find and reach everything they need, they can choose how to dress, what shoes to use and even learn to collect and take care of your belongings. Another of the stands that I visited was Mutsy. I admired the i2, the Mutsy luxury stroller, the new special editions Urban Nomad and Pure, as well as the luxurious Heritage. I discovered a new model that I can not reveal yet by express desire of the brand. The beautiful tapestries of the Adventure Collection del Nio have also been reinterpreted for the Nexo. You will love its details in brown cognac or chocolate brown. For the Nio they will also launch a total black with the chassis and rims in black.

Finally, before leaving, I stopped by the Britax Römer stand to discover their latest and award-winning models of car seats. Matias Massó, distributor for Spain and Portugal, presented me with the new ADVANSAFIX IV R, which has been developed so that children between 9 and 36 kg can travel safely and comfortably.
