New Slow System

A mi me encantó.

Me parece sencillamente maravilloso ¿qué opináis?

NOVELTIES OF MICUNA IN KIND + JUGEND 2019

One of the stands where I enjoy the most when I go to childcare fairs is that of Micuna. In Kind + Jugend 2019 it was, without a doubt, exciting to know all its latest and today I want to present you here exclusively. What I like about Micuna is that it is the only 100% Spanish childcare company. What do I want to tell you? That everything, from design to manufacturing, is done in Spanish territory. And this for more than 45 years. There is no one who manufactures baby furniture like them, I hope to go one day to its headquarters in the Albufera Natural Park in Valencia to show you the whole process in detail. They have a special sensitivity for respect for the environment, the safety of the baby and the reconciliation of work and family, so all their products are made from wood from ecological forests to continue guaranteeing a green world for our children. It is a truly responsible company and is not social makeup as other brands do. You can trust Micuna and they will also make you fall in love with all their proposals and designs. From the Micussori line, based on Montessori learning, to the convertible rooms of unique and differential design. Here I show you all the latest, do not miss it.

Micuna is a market leader in Spain and currently exports to more than 35 countries. If I had a baby I would be clear. His room would be Micuna’s. They have many options for families. At the Kind + Jugend fair I was able to discover the following products.

New Slow System

Micuna offers the option to include in the Slow System breastfeeding rocking chairs that I have already presented to you in this childcare blog, a system for resting the footrest and backrest. The rocking chair can recline automatically thanks to the integrated buttons on the right side of it. While holding down it reclines and when you stop pressing it stops resting. And it is pure innovation that they have added a USB port to charge mobile devices or to add a lamp, which will help you while you are in it. They are very comfortable. This mechanism is completely hidden.

Moom rocking chair

I also want to show you the new rocking chair Moom design by Santiago Sevillano. At the fair there was the option with the rocker that can be removed and put legs if you do not want to swing. They told me that for their design an exhaustive study of the curvature of the armrest for the different heights of the arm according to the size of the adult has been carried out. The goal is that when you have the newborn, the armrest is a help, also during breastfeeding. And as a novelty, it has been designed without earmuffs on the back so that they do not bother the child when it erupts or regurgitates on our shoulder after the shots What do you think? I loved knowing this detail. You have a matching puff with wheels that serves as a storage drawer if you lift its lid. And as for the colors, Micuna has designed it in pink and gray, full pink, combined gray, combined beige or full beige. What is it beautiful?

Dippo Line

It is a 140x70cm cradle that I have also met in Kind und Jugend 2019. It is a restyling of the Dippo cradle of 140 that Micuna already had. In this the material has been changed and the heads have been made straight. When dispensing with the oblique heads, it is also necessary to use two different bed bases, since this cot is convertible into a bed. I loved it. With this redesign the brand has significantly reduced its cost while maintaining all its functionalities. You also have the Dippo bathtub with its chest of drawers to complete your baby’s room.

Mini Nature and Nature

This collection responds to the trend most present this year at the Cologne fair. The creation of totally natural children’s furniture products in beech wood and with Nordic design. You have the option of the cradle and the cradle of 120x60cm that is beautiful. This is the sides are fixed but you can put the bed base at two heights. And of course, to complete the room Micuna has also created the Nature bathtub on the dresser of the same collection, with Soft Closing drawers, which open and close alone without any effort. It has no handles to further respect the clean Scandinavian design.

Moises Nature

Within this Nature collection the maraca launches a beautiful wicker carrycot that includes textile and that can be placed on the legs you see in the images, in natural or white color. These woods do not carry toxic varnishes but are treated with water.

Basic Nordic

This is the basic cradle of Nordic inspiration that all moms like, which can also be transformed to colecho by removing one of the sides that are also mobile Do you like it?
I loved the changing cabinet that was next to her. It is a new design also of Scandinavian trend. It has a drawer and a shelf, the changer is an accessory, when you do not use it you can remove it and you have a precious piece of furniture.

Nino Collection

The Nino collection is very pretty and sweet for your baby. You have the crib with this beautiful drawing that also appears in the dresser that is a bathtub. What I liked the most is that Micuna has designed all the matching textiles to dress the crib. They are trending designs with colors such as mint green or ocher or mustard in a softer hue. It is a convertible crib that responds to several needs in one, since it is a crib that can be turned into a colecho, thanks to the Micuna BE2IN Colecho Kit and also a desk, with the DESK Kit of the brand. And, in addition, you can transform it into a twin cradle, with the Twin Kit. It is possible to access the Relax System mode, where the baby can rest more peacefully in more comfortable positions for rest. Super complete

Micussori news

Among the novelties of the line based on the Montessori methodology, Micuna has created a mirror in which the baby will gradually discover itself. In its early stages of growth you can install it vertically, so that whether it is sitting or crawling it is discovered. Then you can make it horizontal with a bar to help your child stand. I even saw many more utilities. Every day I realize more how important a mirror is in my children’s room, so that they see each other, recognize each other, to promote their autonomy and self-esteem. This with the bar seems to me even useful for the first steps of ballet of my little girl.

In this line they have also created a multifunctional Micussori Panel in which our children can draw (it has support for paintings) and in which you can hang a garland of photos, pennants and use either as a headboard of the bed or behind the small desk sink that Now I will introduce you. Don’t you think this Micussori washbasin is simply wonderful? It can be a sink, a dressing table or a small desk. You decide to cover the hole. It includes the bowl for washing.

Cocoto

Finally, I want to talk about Cocoto, the collection with which I open this post and that I totally fell in love with. It is a design, evolutionary, ecofriendly and insulating mini-cradle designed by the renowned designer Ximo Roca and developed by Micuna. When I say that it is insulating it is because its sustainable material, inspired by origami, is insulating and protects the baby from noise.

Cocoto is a 4-in-1 product: mini-crib, toy, play mat and bench. Your carrycot is available in two shades: beige and gray. You can combine it to your liking with the structure of natural wood water wood or in white.

Origami or origami is the art with which objects are formed by successively folding them, without the need to cut or paste. In Micuna they have been able to create this recycled material from plastic bottles thanks to a highly technological process. It is totally ecological and renewable, with insulating properties that reduce and dampen outside sounds, favoring the baby’s rest. It seems simply wonderful, what do you think?
