Ya sé que este post no tiene glamour ni es fashion y este es un blog de moda infantil, pero como me leéis muchas madres quiero hablaros de mi batalla con los piojos. Un mes hemos tenido de paz desde la vuelta al cole. Yo era de esas mamis que cuando oían hablar a otras de piojos pensaba: “serán unas sucias” y “a mi no me pasa”. Tal cual. Hasta que te pasa y os aseguro que hasta te deprimes. La primera vez los combates, la segunda vez piensas cómo es posible y buscas las causas, será aquella niña o aquel niño, será el campamento, la tercera te hastías y la cuarta ya eres una experta y no le das importancia. Vamos que te pones manos a la obra y los combates. Este verano tuvimos hasta tres veces que poner productos. Probamos dos marcas diferentes porque nos habían dicho que va bien cambiar. Ayer mismo utilizamos una nueva: Neositrín. Me lo recomendó otra mami blogger amiga. Ella tiene un máster en piojos con sus hijas. El Gel & Spray Neositrín, garantiza una eficacia 100%, ya que elimina los piojos y liendres por acción mecánica, sin pesticidas (los ahoga). Es muy importante que utilicéis un producto así que elimine las liendres que son el verdadero peligro. Porque el producto puede hacer su acción en un minuto pero después os vais a pasar hasta dos horas (dependiendo del número de hijos y la longitud de sus cabelleras) sacando huevitos. Y aquí es dónde tenéis que ser súper constantes. Mirad cada semana con la liendrera que no hayan huevos para evitar la nueva infestación. Si todo lo que os cuento os suena a chino seguid leyendo para tener vuestro postgrado en piojos.
El piojo es un parásito. Y esto significa que no nos aporta nada a los seres humanos, vamos que por hacer solo nos hace la puñeta. No puede vivir más de 48 horas fuera de nuestras cabezas. Pero si os infestáis tenéis que cambiar camas, cojines, peluches y hasta toallas porque allí pueden haber caído las liendres. Estás son los huevos ovalados, blancos o grisáceos, que encontraréis pegados cerca del cuero cabelludo y que no se separan fácilmente. Hay muchas liendreras que no los sacan, lo mejor es con la mano una a una. De ahí el tiempo y el engorro.
Los piojos prefieren las cabezas limpias porque se agarran mejor y no saltan de una cabeza a otra, no vuelan. Se transmiten por contacto. Nuestros hijos con sus amigos se pegan y luego se pegan a nosotros. Si tenéis bebés no os pasará pero si practicáis colecho con niños mayores, el piojo formará parte de vuestra familia, al completo.
Son súper escurridizos, aviso, huyen de la luz y se mueven con rapidez escondiéndose entre los pelos. Las liendres sí son más fáciles de ver con un buen foco. Truco: la búsqueda es más fácil si el cabello esta húmedo, ya que los movimientos del parásito son mas torpes. Os recomiendo poner una toalla blanca sobre los hombros para ver mejor los piojos que van cayendo. Esto lo leeréis y os dará mucho asquito pero pasar pasa.
Si solo veis uno yo os recomiendo utilizar Neositrín Gel & Spray que es muy cómodo. Aplicáis por la raíz dividiendo el cabello con las manos. En un minuto los mata pero es mejor que dejéis actuar 15 minutos el producto. Yo voy pasando la liendrera para repartirlo mejor desde la raíz hasta las puntas. A la hora de lavar no pongáis agua, utilizad Neositrín Champú porque os ayudará a quitar la solución antipiojos con mayor facilidad que un champú convencional (y además lleva repelente de piojos). Primero aplicar el champú sin agua y dar un buen masaje, luego aclarad y volver a aplicar Neositrín Champúy aclarad de nuevo.
Antes de secar el pelo volver a pasar la liendrera por toda la cabeza separando mechones desde la raíz y hasta las puntas. Quizás este es el paso más importante para sacar los piojos muertos y, sobre todo, las liendres. Revisad pelo a pelo para que no queden huevos. Yo recomiendo volver a hacer el tratamiento a los 7 días, al margen de que no haya piojos.
Neositrín tiene además otro producto que a nosotros nos va genial porque tenemos el pelo largo y cada mañana se nos enreda antes de ir al cole. Es un spray acondicionador con agradable aroma a naranja y mango. Si lo usáis de forma recurrente os ayudará a prevenir la infestación ya que elimina los piojos que puedan entrar en contacto con el cabello y además ayuda a desenredar los pelos largos. Estos son mis consejos y os daría muchos más. El farmacéutico de mi barrio me contaba el otro día que cada día vienen más madres a comprar Neositrín preocupadas por la epidemia de piojos. No hagáis dramas, un buen producto es el mejor aliado.
STRIP LICE WITH NEOSITRÍN

One month we have had peace since returning to school. I was one of those moms who, when they heard others talking about lice, thought: “they will be dirty” and “it won’t happen to me”. Like so. Until it happens to you and I assure you that even you will get depressed. The first time you fight, the second time you think how it is possible and you look for the causes, it will be that girl or that child, it will be the camp, the third you will be bored and the fourth you are already an expert and you do not give importance. Let’s go to work and fight. This summer we had to use the products up to three times. We tried two different brands because they had told us that it is good to change. Yesterday we used a new one: Neositrin. It was recommended to me by another mommy blogger friend. She has a master’s degree in lice with her daughters. The Gel & Spray Neositrín, guarantees a 100% efficiency, since it eliminates lice and nits by mechanical action, without pesticides (drowning). It is very important that you use a product to eliminate the nits that are the real danger. Because the product can do its action in a minute but then you will spend up to two hours (depending on the number of children and the length of their hair) removing eggs. And here is where you have to be super constant. Look every week with the nurse that there are no eggs to avoid the new infestation. The louse is a parasite. And this means that it does not contribute anything to human beings, it just makes our lives difficult because it can. It can not live more than 48 hours out of our heads. If you only see one I recommend using Neositrin Gel & Spray which is very comfortable. Apply by the root dividing hair with hands. In a minute it kills them but it is better to let the product act for 15 minutes. I’m passing the nit to distribute it better from the root to the tips. At the time of washing do not put water, use Neositrin Shampoo because it will help you remove the anti-lice solution more easily than a conventional shampoo (and also has lice repellent). First apply the shampoo without water and give a good massage, then rinse and reapply Neositrin Shampoo and rinse again.
Before drying the hair, return the nits over the head, separating strands from the root to the tips. Perhaps this is the most important step to remove the dead lice and, especially, the nits. Check hair to hair so there are no eggs left. I recommend doing the treatment again after 7 days, regardless of no lice.
Neositrín also has another product that is great for us because we have long hair and every morning we are entangled before going to school. It is a conditioner spray with a pleasant orange and mango aroma. If you use it recurrently it will help you prevent the infestation since it eliminates the lice that may come into contact with the hair and also helps to untangle the long hairs. These are my advice and I would give you many more. The pharmacist in my neighborhood told me the other day that every day more mothers come to buy Neositrin worried about the lice epidemic. Do not create drama, a good product is the best ally.
