Hace algunos días os mostraba en mis redes sociales fotos de mis peques con algunos looks de la marca danesa de moda infantil Soft Gallery. Me encanta desde que la descubrí en un certamen en París. Para esta temporada otoño e invierno se han inspirado en Japón. De hecho parte de la colección le rinde homenaje a este país. Se llama Optimist y habla del niño soñador, de mente abierta, el curioso y por supuesto optimista. Soft Gallery nos dice con sus bonitos prints y bordados que en el optimismo esta la singularidad de cada persona y nos invita a unirnos en este viaje de inspiración que empieza en la niñez y acaba más allá del horizonte. Los creadores Barbara Hvidt y Tine Holt Møller se inspiraron en su viaje a Tokio en la primavera de 2017. Era su primera visita y se perdieron en este lugar asombroso y diverso. Ya os conté en mi blog de viajes el viaje a Japón que hice hace años y cómo deseo volver con mis hijos. Nosotros también nos perdimos descubriendo pueblos y ha sido una de las experiencias más divertidas y enriquecedoras de mi vida por sus exquisitas y distintivas tradiciones, contrastes, símbolos y motivos de la estética japonesa que ahora veréis impresos en las prendas de Soft Gallery. También por el paisaje urbano de Tokio tan diferente al de las zonas rurales. Cerrad los ojos e imaginad por un momento los choques de colores de esta ciudad, sus mascotas, las esculturas, el caos y hasta el silencio urbano, las cerámicas artesanales, las señales de tráfico, las luces de neón, los callejones del centro, las tradiciones japonesas y la estética moderna de sus jóvenes. Soft Gallery apuesta por todos los sentimientos nuevos, por perderse y perder la noción del tiempo, por comprender la belleza de todo lo que nos rodea, la importancia de ser optimista y de mente abierta. Sus looks imprimen las tradiciones japonesas vs. la estética moderna. Veréis pints de la cultura japonesa, de sus hermosos paisajes. Las delicadas flores de cerezo se imprimen con la tradicional ave grulla japonesa colocada cuidadosamente entre las vibrantes flores rosa. Hermosas formas de insectos bordados y flores antiguas tomadas de los jardines japoneses y los kimonos tradicionales. Sofisticado art deco estampado inspirado en papeles pintados a mano en un chándal fresco y cómodo.
La flor de cerezo, un amado símbolo japonés del amor entre padres e hijos, está bellamente estampada en uno de los vestido rosa empolvado que tiene Valentina, con una voluminosa falda con capas de volantes, un homenaje al arte de ver una flor y su belleza.
Los cardigan para las chicas son de punto fino. Veréis un vestido negro con un estampado de flores inspirado en un kimono de época, combinado con una boina, guantes y una bufanda con el mismo estampado que lo hace cálido y lujoso al mismo tiempo. Ya sabéis que la boina es un must de esta temporada.
Ya sabéis que el Sensu es el típico abanico japonés de bambú. Pues está representado de diferentes maneras en la colección: como un estampado delicado y bordado a mano, en pantalones y camisas de vestir, en una suave chaqueta kimono acolchada y en un vestido ligero. Podéis utilizar las prendas solas o combinarlas en capas.
Una de las zonas más divertidas para visitar en Japón es Harajuku, muy conocida por su cultura juvenil y moda extravagante. Soft Gallery se inspira en este distrito con una elegante chaqueta de piel sintética y un precioso abrigo de pelo atrevido y cálido.
Para los chicos, han realizado una colección más deportiva que mezcla las cómodas siluetas nórdicas con la cultura urbana japonesa y la vibrante ropa deportiva vintage. A nosotros nos encanta el tigre MASKOT de Soft Gallery, que simboliza las grandes tradiciones del béisbol japonés. Las sudaderas decoradas con esta mascota son una pasada. ¿Qué os parece?

A few days ago I showed you on my social networks photos of my kids with some looks from the Danish children’s fashion brand Soft Gallery. I love it since I discovered it in a contest in Paris. For this season autumn and winter have been inspired by Japan. In fact part of the collection pays homage to this country. It’s called Optimist and he talks about the dreamer, the open minded, the curious and of course the optimist. Soft Gallery tells us with its beautiful prints and embroidery that optimism is the uniqueness of each person and invites us to join in this journey of inspiration that begins in childhood and ends beyond the horizon. The creators Barbara Hvidt and Tine Holt Møller were inspired by their trip to Tokyo in the spring of 2017. It was their first visit and they were lost in this amazing and diverse place. I already told you in my travel blog the trip to Japan that I made years ago and how I want to return with my children. We also got lost discovering villages and it has been one of the most fun and enriching experiences of my life because of its exquisite and distinctive traditions, contrasts, symbols and Japanese aesthetic motives that you will now see printed in the Soft Gallery garments. Also because of Tokyo’s urban landscape that is so different from that of rural areas. Close your eyes and imagine for a moment the collisions of colors of this city, your pets, the sculptures, the chaos and even the urban silence, the handmade ceramics, the traffic signs, the neon lights, the alleys of the center, the Japanese traditions and the modern aesthetics of its young people. If you have been able to do it, you will understand the beauty of this collection that I present to you here.

The delicate cherry blossoms are printed with the traditional Japanese crane bird carefully placed among the vibrant pink flowers. Beautiful forms of embroidered insects and ancient flowers taken from Japanese gardens and traditional kimonos. Sophisticated art deco print inspired by hand-painted papers in a cool and comfortable tracksuit.
The cherry blossom, a beloved Japanese symbol of love between parents and children, is beautifully printed in one of Valentina’s powdered pink dress, with a voluptuous skirt with layers of ruffles, a tribute to the art of seeing a flower and its beauty.
The cardigan for girls is fine knit. You will see a black dress with a floral pattern inspired by a vintage kimono, combined with a beret, gloves and a scarf with the same pattern that makes it warm and luxurious at the same time. You know that the beret is a must for this season.
You already know that the Sensu is the typical Japanese bamboo fan. For it is represented in different ways in the collection: as a delicate print and hand embroidery, in pants and dress shirts, in a soft padded kimono jacket and in a light dress. You can use the garments alone or combine them in layers.
One of the most fun areas to visit in Japan is Harajuku, well known for its youthful culture and extravagant fashion. Soft Gallery is inspired by this district with an elegant faux fur jacket and a beautiful coat of bold and warm hair.
For the boys, they have made a more sporty collection that mixes the comfortable Nordic silhouettes with the Japanese urban culture and the vibrant vintage sportswear. We love the MASKOT tiger from Soft Gallery, which symbolizes the great traditions of Japanese baseball. The sweatshirts decorated with this mascot are amazing. What do you think?
