Cuando me preguntan qué marca en cuanto a diseño me gusta para mi hijo, siempre nombro a Little Marc Jacobs. Desde que la lanzaron cuando él aún era pequeñito. La colección de verano de la firma se inspira en una gran feria americana, la típica que solemos ver en las películas. Hay diferentes temáticas y todas son muy bonitas. Podéis encontrarla en los puntos de venta autorizados y córners de El Corte Inglés. En la primera línea Sweat Neon predominan los modelos Mini Me con estampados de caramelos de colores para despertar a los más golosos. Galactic Kawaii es el segundo tema y se inspira en la delicadez del verano con colores pastel que se entremezclan en las impresiones lúdicas. El aire rebelde se plasma en la colección de chicos Graffiti Punk donde las prendas se customizan con diferentes parches y, finalmente, con la temática Space Rock, vuelve la ciencia ficción cargada de estilo y hasta de guiños a nuestra serie preferida “Stranger Things”. En Sweat Neon las camisetas amarillas se mezclan con prendas rosas inspirándose en el algodón de azúcar. En el puesto de las chucherías, una variedad de piruletas renuevan la clásica camiseta marinera de Little Marc Jacobs, los regalices visten el inconfundible vestido milano, así como el helado bordado que hace que la camiseta brille. Las estrellas plateadas animan un vestido inspirado en la colección de adulto.
En Galactic Kawaii la Miss Marc y su ayudante el pavo real aportan un estilo Kawai, así como un gatito geek que se prepara para una nueva partida de videojuego. Los niños más aventureros podrán convertirse en su super héroe favorito llevando la camiseta inspirada en Superman estampada en lentejuelas. Para completar el look de las niñas se combina con una chaqueta y short vaquero con detalles de fantasía tipo rayo plateado bordado, rayas de satén multicolor y puños metalizados. ¿Os gustan las lentejuelas para los peques? A mi me encantan.
En Graffiti Punk partimos del blanco, gris o negro con toques de color como el rojo o amarillo. Algunas camisetas tienen estampado a un grupo punk de animales que ensayan para su próximo concierto. Los Little Marc se atreven a combinar una camiseta roja de rayas irregulares con una chaqueta vaquera llena de parches.
En el último tema Space Rock los estampados transmiten perfectamente la idea de cómo será el futuro en los años 70 y 80: un monstruo gigante tipo Godzilla, personajes de look Star Treck, portada de cómics con fondos intergalácticos y el logo Marc Jacobs con aires de Star Wars. La colección también se inspira en la celebre serie “Stranger Things” y le dedica una camiseta azul. When I’m asked what brand design I like for my son, I always name Little Marc Jacobs. Since the beginning when it was still little. The summer collection of the firm is inspired by a great American fair, the typical one that we usually see in movies. There are different themes and they are all very beautiful. You can find it at the authorized points of sale and corners of El Corte Inglés. In the first line Sweat Neon, Mini Me models with colorful candy patterns to awaken the most sweet ones predominate. Galactic Kawaii is the second theme and is inspired by the delicacy of summer with pastel colors that intermingle in the playful impressions. The rebellious air is reflected in the collection of Graffiti Punk boys where the garments are customized with different patches and, finally, with the theme Space Rock, science fiction full of style and even winks back to our favorite series “Stranger Things”. In Sweat Neon yellow shirts are mixed with pink clothes inspired by cotton candy. At the knick knack stand, a variety of lollipops renew the classic Little Marc Jacobs sailor t-shirt, the royals wear the unmistakable Milano dress, as well as the embroidered ice cream that makes the shirt shine. The silver stars animate a dress inspired by the adult collection.
In Galactic Kawaii the Miss Marc and her assistant the peacock provide a Kawai style, as well as a geek kitten who is preparing for a new game of video-game. The most adventurous kids can become their favorite superhero by wearing the Superman-inspired t-shirt stamped in sequins. To complete the look of the girls is combined with a jacket and short cowboy with fantasy details embroidered silver ray, multicolored satin stripes and metallic cuffs. Do you like sequins for kids? I love them.
In Graffiti Punk we start from white, gray or black with touches of color like red or yellow. Some t-shirts have a punk group of animals that rehearse for their next concert. The Little Marc dare to combine a red shirt with irregular stripes and a denim jacket full of patches.
In the last Space Rock theme the prints perfectly convey the idea of what the future will look like in the 70s and 80s: a giant Godzilla monster, Star Trek look characters, comic book cover with intergalactic backgrounds and the Marc Jacobs logo with the air of Star Wars.
