A veces tengo que detener la mirada. Mi cabeza va muy rápida. Es capaz de absorber mucha información a la vez. Pero mis ojos necesitan parar y disfrutar. En el momento en el que uno conciencia y razón llega la emoción. Así me ha pasado con la colección primavera verano de la marca Omini, 100% Made in Spain ¿La conocéis? Estoy segura que sí y sino, aquí estoy para presentárosla. María, Belén, Ana y Blanca crearon Omini en 2013. Con un estilo propio esta marca ha sabido cautivarnos a muchas mamás. Apasionadas por el diseño de moda a punto estuvieron de fundar una marca para mujer, sin embargo al ser mamás dieron un giro a su proyecto y presentaron esta firma de moda infantil. En Omini hay mucho diseño y mucha calidad. Sé de buena tinta que escogen todo con sumo cariño, atención y detalle: desde los estampados, a los tejidos, la confección y los acabados de cada temporada. Su Japan Collection para esta primavera verano 2016 me ha enamorado. Aquí os la presento.
Es maravilloso ver como algo que creas con tanto esfuerzo tiene éxito y repercusión en el tiempo. Omini es una marca de ropa para bebés y niños desde los 0 meses hasta los 10 años. Estoy convencida que algún día sacarán prendas para mamás tal y como habían soñado. Y las mujeres como yo, a las que nos apasiona la moda, estaremos encantadas y agradecidas. Sobre todo si llevan el mismo sello de Omini, el sello de la pasión y el gusto de estas creadoras. Es maravilloso ver cómo en España nacen y crecen proyectos tan apasionantes como este.
Fijaros en las propuestas de su colección primavera verano 2016 que acompañan a este post. Se han inspirado en Japón. Si habéis estado en el país del sol naciente sabréis que paseando por algunos de sus pueblos se respira paz, silencio y armonía. A mi Japón me recuerda el agua de sus templos, señal de vida. Los niños que crecen son símbolo de vida también y Omini los abraza con una colección llena de color, con estampados 100% exclusivos y elaborada con materiales de primera calidad como el lino o el algodón. Imprescindibles para los cálidos días de verano.
Omini apuesta por el punto sin acrílicos y en colores básicos como el negro, rojo guinda o el mostaza, el must de esta temporada. También por tonos empolvados como el gris, el rosa o el hueso. No he podido resistir la tentación de comprarle a Valentina una de sus famosas chaquetas con orejitas. La he escogido hoy mismo en su tienda online en color verde aqua. Para Jorge me encantan las camisetas a rayas, una reinterpretación del estilo marinero pero más chic con tonos mostaza, rojo y negro.
Lo verdaderamente importante en una marca es crear sus propios estampados. Omini crea sus dibujos para diferenciarse de otras firmas y definir así su estilo. Si veis algo similar en las propuestas del fast fashion tenéis que ser capaces de reconocer de dónde proviene la verdadera creatividad. Personalmente, esquivo las copias. Los estampados de esta Japan Collection son el “palo japonés”, “sakana”, “antik” o “flores japan”. ¿Cuál os gusta a vosotras?
Algunos de sus monos están ya agotados en la tienda online. Si os fijáis en su diseños son modelos prácticos, sencillos y elegantes, pero con personalidad propia. A mi me gustan mucho. Tanto los vestidos, como los monos o camisas tienen fruncidos, volantes o cuellos que aportan a la prenda un toque diferencial.

Sometimes I need to fixate on what I’m looking at. My head moves very quickly. It’s capable of absorbing a lot of information at the same time. But my eyes need to stop and enjoy. In the moment that one’s awareness and reason becomes emotion, this is what happened me for the spring summer collection from brand Omini, made 100% in Spain. Have you heard of it? I’m sure you have and if not I’m going to present it to you here. María, Belén, Anna and Blanca created Omini in 2013. With it’s own style it is a brand that has known how to captivate a lot of mothers. They are so passionate for fashion design to the point that they almost founded their own brand for women, however being mothers they took a turn on the project and presented this company for children’s fashion. At Omini there is a lot of design and very high-quality. I know for a fact that they choose everything with a lot of affection, attention and detail, from the patterns to the fabrics, how it’s made and the finishes of every season. I fell in love with the Japan collection for this spring summer 2016. Here I’ll present it to you.
It’s marvelous to see that something that you create with so much effort becomes successful and has an impact over time. Omini is a brand of baby’s and children’s clothes from zero months to 10 years old. I’m convinced that one day they will also have garments from mothers as they have been dreaming about. And the women like me, that are passionate for fashion, will be enchanted and thankful. Above all if it has the same Omini stamp, the stamp of passion and taste from these creators. It’s wonderful to see how in Spain projects as passionate as this one are born and grow.

Omini is committed to not using acrylics and use basic colors like black, cherry red or mustard which is a must for the season. They also have dusty colors like gray, pink or bone. I was unable to resist the temptation to buy Valentina one of the famous jackets with little ears. I chose it today on their online store in an aqua marine color. For Jorge I love the striped shirts, a reinterpretation of the sailor style, but more chic with mustard, red and black tones.
The most important part in a brand is that it creates it’s own patterns. Omini creates it’s drawings which are different from other companies and that is how they define their style. If you see something similar in the designs of fast fashion you have to be capable of recognizing where the real creativity comes from. Personally I avoid the copies. Some of the overalls are already sold out on the online store. If you pay tension to their designs they are practical, simple and elegant models but they have their own personality. I like them a lot. The dresses as much as the overalls or the shirts have their shirring, ruffles or necklines that give you a garment with a different touch.
